• Why do we always work together?
So that you get a far better coverage of your wedding day, and so that we both get to eat the doughnuts. We're two equal and interchangeable photographers, by the way, not a primary and a secondary.
• Why no package with a big album like everybody else offers?
Partly because nowadays so few of the couples we meet are interested in them, and partly because we never liked doing the up-selling after the wedding that goes with offering big albums. So instead, we include books which live on your bookshelf, not in a box under your bed.
If you do want a full-on wedding album, owning the files means that you can do something about getting one at any time (maybe treat yourselves for your first anniversary?) and your options range from DIY at well under £100 to a custom product from a specialist supplier at well over £1000.
• Why so few black and whites?
The short answer is because we see in colour and because weddings are colourful occasions. However, we do usually convert a few pictures to black and white, and when we do, you get those as well as the colour versions, not instead of them.
• Why aren't we "award winning" photographers?
Because just about everybody else seems to be?
• Why do we prefer not to work with videographers?
Because 10 years experience has proved that we can do a better job for you if we don't have to work round one.
• Why such a different approach to selling what we offer?
Because we're totally up-front about what we do. Because we're totally focused on your pictures. And because we do actually listen to couples when they tell us what they want from their wedding photographers!
• Why no awesome sales presentation in our übercool studio?
Because we want you to love the pictures, not the presentation of them. So we put everything right here in the shop window - without any window-dressing. The pictures on this site and in the blog show you exactly what we do, and the prices page tells you exactly what that costs. Simple, straightforward, and saves a lot of time.
